This a ready to run model of an HO scale EMD GP-30 diesel powered locomotive lettered for the Chicago Burlington and Quincy Railroad in red grey Route paint scheme.

This locomotive was first released by Athearn in their line of gear drive locomotives as item number 0145/3145 May 1962 and discontinued with release the GP-35 1966.
